Welcome to Anjaykarta, The Concrete Circus.

Anjaykarta is a fast-paced, low-prep urban roleplaying game designed to capture the gritty, chaotic, and hyper-capitalist survival experience of a fictionalized Jakarta. Built from the ground up to have the lowest cognitive load possible for newcomers, it takes the lethal speed and bizarre "Failed Career" origins of Electric Bastionland and crashes them into the living, clock-driven faction ecosystem of Blades in the Dark.

The Premise

You’ve tried playing by the rules, but your savings are gone, and your party is trapped by a massive 100-million Rupiah debt. To survive, you must hunt down an elite "Walking Wallet", a wealthy benefactor, to pay it off before your shared Time clock runs out.

Key Features

• Core Triangle: Every decision forces a trade-off between Time, Money, and Safety.
• The Mapless Pointcrawl System: There are no grid maps. Travel is abstracted across five massive City States, each governed by Wealth, Danger, and Traffic stats.
• Faction Hustle: Players interact with local Ormas, conglomerates, and syndicates. Tick Compliance clocks to earn favors and rumors, or generate Heat clocks when you choose violence.
• Failed Careers: Discover your bizarre past before the debt, up to 30 Failed Careers flavoured to the Jaykarta everyday life.

We're still in development!

Our priority right now is to finish the 3rd chapter, Conductor's Guide, which will detail the inner workings of Jaykarta and the environment inside it. Factions will be expanded and several other systems are explained more thoroughly. Additionally, we are testing out the layout of the system itself, as well as converting for our cover art.
